Felton Morgan Poteet Sr, 71 - Travelers Rest

Felton Morgan Poteet, Sr., 71, widower of Frances Ellen Rogers Poteet, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014, at his home.

Born in Blue Ridge, GA, he was a son of the late James and Flora Poteet. Mr. Poteet owned and operated Poteet Mobile Home Transport for nineteen years, retired from Greenville County Public Works, and attended Cross Plains Baptist Church.

He is survived by two sons: Felton Morgan Poteet, Jr. (Patricia), and John Wayne Poteet; one sister; six grandchildren: Crystal, Craig, Ashley, Matthew, Hannah, and Jordan; and one great grandchild, Sebastian.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon at The Howze Mortuary Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon at The Howze Mortuary.

The family will be at the home.
