Jack Epps, 86 - Marietta
Jack Nolan Epps, 86, of Marietta, SC passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at his home.
Born in Greenville County, SC, he was a son of the late Francis Kinard and Eunice Vaughn Epps. Mr. Epps was a Master Clock Maker having owned C Jack’s Clock Service for over 50 years; he was a member of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors since 1965 and was of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving is his wife of 68 years, Betty Louise Ervin Epps; a daughter, Jacqueline Kaye Stoutenburgh and her husband Dave; his grandson, Nolan Fletcher Davis and his wife Tavia; his great grandson, Jack Henry Davis and his son-in-law, Ron Davis.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a daughter, Diane Epps Davis, who passed away in July of 2011.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon June 18th, 2019 in The Howze Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 2 PM Tuesday at the mortuary prior to the service.
Pallbearers: Nolan Davis, Ron Davis, Scott Ervin, Gene Ervin, Freddie Hall and Tommy Shivers.
Honorary Pallbearers: Dr. Fred Rogoff, Gary Ervin, Truman Crain and Stanley Cox.
