Dorothy Sosebee, 69 - Travelers Rest

Dorothy Alaine Sosebee, 69, of Travelers Rest, Passed away August 2, 2019.

Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late A.D. Moore and Mary McCallister Stancil. Mrs. Sosebee was a hair stylist, retired as a Heart Cath Monitor Technician, and was a member of Park Place Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband: James C. Sosebee, Sr.; two sons: James Sosebee, Jr. (Erin) and Chris Sosebee (Autumn); one daughter: Tracey Cantrell (Rodney); two sisters: Shirley Hoefle (Bob) and Jeannie Barnes (Keith); two brothers: Lee McCallister (Shirley) and Dennis Stancil (Debbie); one grandson: Austin Cantrell; and six granddaughters: Madison Cantrell, Meredith Sosebee, Parker Sosebee, Prestyn Sosebee, Collins Sosebee, and Jemma Sosebee.

The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday afternoon in The Howze Mortuary Chapel.
