Travelers Rest man dies after being hit by car in Greenville

GREENVILLE, S.C. — A 41-year-old Travelers Rest man was killed when he was struck be a vehicle Sunday morning.

The incident happened around 3:15 a.m. in the 1400 block of Poinsett Highway, just south of Cherrydale.

The coroner identified the man as Jonathan Scott Kish, of Pipers Glen Ct.

Kish was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased at 3:45 a.m.

An autopsy will be conducted on Monday.
