Injured Powder Puff players released from hospital
TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – Two Travelers Rest High School students injured in Friday night's Powder Puff football game have been released from the hospital.
Heather Barrett and Ariel Hill collided during the annual game and were transported by ambulance after receiving treatment on the field.
Both girls sustained concussions, and Hill suffered a fractured leg. Barrett sustained a broken nose and received 10 stitches in her top lip, according to multiple Facebook posts and Twitter status updates.
