Now Hiring: Travelers Rest Wendy's set to open mid-October

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. — A new Wendy's in Travelers Rest is entering the final phases of construction and is set to open in the middle of October.

Located at 80 Krieger Court, the restaurant has the latest, most innovative interior and exterior design, according to officials at Tar Heel Capital Corporation, a 79-unit Wendy’s Franchise with restaurants throughout the Carolina’s and NW Georgia.

The interior showcases open, bright dining areas with multiple seating options, including private booths, high topped tables and stools, Wi-Fi access and charging stations. The restaurant also includes self-order kiosks, Flat Screen TV’s, Coca-Cola Freestyle self-serve soda machines, and more.

“We are very excited to bring Wendy’s latest design to Travelers Rest," said Tad Dolbier, CEO of Tar Heel Capital. "Our ultimate goal is for our customers to have the best dining experience possible, and we think they will be surprised and excited about their new Wendy’s.”

The restaurant will add approximately 40 full and part-time jobs in Travelers Rest.
