Edward Cothran, 73 - Travelers Rest

Edward Dwight " Eddie " Cothran, 73, of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, went home to be with his heavenly father on Friday, September 13, 2019, in Greenville, South Carolina. A native of Greenville County, he is the son of the late, Alford Lawrence Cothran and Gertrude Harbin. Eddie retired from Hertz Celanese, he owned Cothran Landscaping and the Lil' Coffee Pot Cafe. He enjoyed spending time outdoors enjoying nature, riding his horse, Joe, and sitting on his deck watching the hummingbirds.

Those who will most cherish his memory are his wife, Tammy Poole Cothran; his two daughters, Trish Thomasson and Vicky Cothran; two granddaughters, Jordan Lang (Steffan) and Lauren Eisenmann (Jesse); his great grandson, Elijah Lang; his sister, Kathy Harbin and his brother, Lee Cothran.

A memorial service to remember and honor Eddie's life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Mon., Sept. 16, 2019, at the Walnut Grove Baptist Church, 626 Talley Bridge Road, Marietta, South Carolina 29661. The family will gather to receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Church. The family will be at the home of Eddie and Tammy and wish to thank everyone for their kindness and support during their time of loss.
