Greenville County Rec waterparks open Saturday

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Greenville County Rec’s waterparks will be open Saturday, May 24 through Memorial Day, May 26. 

Otter Creek, located at 101 W. Darby Rd, and Discovery Island in Simpsonville will be open weekends only until June 6, when they will open seven days a week.  7th Inning Splash in Piedmont will be open weekends only until June 7. 

Each waterpark has special attractions. Otter Creek offers a tube slide, body slide, drop slide, child slide, spray pad, and expansive zero depth entry swim area. 7th Inning Splash features a giant bowl slide, spray pad and a standard swimming pool. Discovery Island features a flow rider where visitors can surf on boogie boards, ride the giant slides, tube around a lazy river, and enjoy a zero depth entry interactive play area.
