William Ledbetter, 81 - Travelers Rest

William Earl Ledbetter, 81, of Travelers Rest, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019, at his home.

Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Roy Filmore and Jennie Goldsmith Ledbetter. Mr. Ledbetter served in the Army National Guard; he was a retired Manager with Greenville County Waste Management and was a member of Northwest Baptist Church.

Surviving is his wife of 61 years, Carolyn Armstrong Ledbetter; a daughter, Jennifer Lark (Steve); a son, Glen Ledbetter (Pam) and 9 grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Guy Ledbetter.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at The Howze Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2 PM Tuesday at the mortuary prior to the service.

The family will be at the home.
