Body found inside burning vehicle
TIGERVILLE, S.C. — A body was found inside a burning vehicle on Sam Langley Road in northern Greenville County early Saturday morning.
North Greenville FD firefighters were called to the scene around 1 a.m. after a wreck was reported. Once the vehicle fire was extinguished, a deceased male was found in the vehicle, Lt. Jimmy Bolt with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office said.
Due to suspicious circumstances, the Sheriff’s Office has taken over the investigation, Bolt said, adding that the investigation is still in its early stages and details are limited.

The identity of the deceased has not been released at this time.
Investigators are asking any resident in the area who may have security cameras to check them for activity prior to 1 a.m. Anyone with information the incident is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 23-Crime.
