Lt. Gov. to kick off statewide litter pick up challenge at Trailblazer Park on Saturday
TRAVELERS REST, S.C. — Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evette will be at Trailblazer Park on Saturday morning to kick off "Grab A Bag SC," a statewide litter pick up challenge.
Following a press conference at 9 a.m., Evette and others will lead a community cleanup. Citizens across the state are encouraged to go out into their own communities and do the same on Saturday.
"In South Carolina, we are blessed with abundant natural beauty — from the mountaintops to the beaches," Evette said. "This Saturday, grab a bag, invite friends, and go out into your community to help keep S.C. clean and beautiful."
