Travelers Rest Christmas Parade to be held on Saturday

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – The annual Travelers Rest Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14 beginning at 11 a.m. (note new start time).

The theme for this year's parade is “A Small Town Christmas."

The Bank of Travelers Rest (at the end of the parade route) will host a community celebration following the parade. Winners will be announced at the reception.

Parade Date/Time: Saturday, Dec. 14 at 11 a.m.

Forecast: A 30 percent chance of showers before 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 60.

Parade Route: The parade will travel from South Main St. and Roe Rd., north on Main St. to Center St., east to Poinsett Hwy., east to Hawkins Dr., east to Plaza Dr. and south to Poplar St.
