Marietta man killed in Locust Hill Road crash

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. — A 63-year-old Marietta man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in northern Greenville County on Tuesday.

The crash happened around 4:30 a.m. in the 3700 block of Locust Hill Road (Highway 290), about 3 miles north of Greer.

The driver of the vehicle, identified as Dennis Human, of Chestnut Ridge Road, was killed when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree, according to the Greenville County Coroner's Office.

Human was pronounced dead at the scene, the coroner said.

Human was wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck, the coroner said.
