Logging truck wreck forces Highway 25 closure
Update: As of 1:50 p.m., all lanes of U.S. Hwy. 25 have been reopened.
TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – Northbound lanes of U.S. Hwy. 25 were closed Thursday morning following a crash involving an overturned logging trailer.

The wreck – which involved a total of three vehicles – occurred around 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Boswell Road.
The overturned logs came to rest up against a fuel tanker, and a trailer – with a piece of excavating equipment being pulled by a truck – overturned.
Northbound traffic was diverted onto U.S. Hwy. 414 as Tigerville Fire Dept. firefighters and other emergency responders worked to clear the scene.
No injuries were reported.
Troopers with the S.C. Highway Patrol are investigating the wreck.
