Photos: Devildogs athletes sign on National Signing Day

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. — Travelers Rest High School seniors Derrick Fields, Toby Foster, Ty Gary, and Gary Holmes III became the latest Devildog athletes to sign letters of intent on National Signing Day to continue their athletic careers in college. Family and friends gathered in the Media Center after school on Wednesday for the signing ceremony.
Fields will play football for the Red Ravens of Coffeyville Community College in Coffeyville, Kansas. Fields played four years of football as one of the top receivers in the region and played five years on the basketball team.

Foster has wrestled for four years and was recently named Outstanding Wrestler at the Greenville County Tournament. He will wrestle for the Lander University Bearcats in Greenwood, SC.
Defensive ends Ty Gary and Gary Holmes III will continue playing football together for the Golden Norsemen of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in Miami, Oklahoma. Gary and Holmes played four years as key players on the defensive side of the ball and Holmes also played tight end.
