Shirley Ann Wilmot, 77 - Marietta

Shirley Ann Capps Wilmot, 77, of Marietta, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020.

Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Blane and Alma Jones Capps. She was retired from Slater Mill and a member of Slater Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years: Richard E. Wilmot, Jr.; sons: Lee Addington (Brenda), Scott Addington, Rick Wilmot (Janice), Clint Wilmot (Jody); daughters: Michele Gmerek (Dan), Claudia Rooney (Mario); brothers: Bill Capps, Gary Capps (Dale); sister: Sharon Capps; brothers-in-law: Elmer Wilmot (Mary), Earl Smith (Debbie); 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents she was predeceased by her first husband, Johnny Addington.

The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10am until 11am at The Howze Mortuary.

Funeral services will be Friday morning at 11am at The Howze Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at Mountain View Memorial Park.

The family will be at the home of her husband.
