Bob Marchbanks, 87 - Travelers Rest

William Robert “Bob” Marchbanks, 87, of Travelers Rest, husband of the late Edith Batson Marchbanks, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2020, at his home.

Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late William Walter and Mable Amanda White Marchbanks. He retired from Atlas Vending, was a U. S. Navy Veteran, and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his daughters: Gail Marchbanks, Teresa Mann(Bill); sons: Scott Marchbanks(Tammy), Roger Marchbanks(Terri); and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Along with his wife and parents he was predeceased by sisters, Dorothy Catron and Betty Culpepper.

Services for Mr. Marchbanks will be private.

Family and friends are invited to sign the register book at The Howze Mortuary, Tuesday, May 5, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The family asks that because of the virus threat no visitors at the home.
