Jacquelyn Ann Sorrentino, 63 - Travelers Rest

Jacquelyn Ann Gilreath Sorrentino, 63, of Travelers Rest, SC, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC.

Born in Travelers Rest, SC, she was a daughter of the late Jeff Nelson and Annie Lee Styles Gilreath. She was a member of the “Daughters of the American Revolution” and was an honorary member of Phi Beta Kappa Sorority. She was of the graduation class of 1975 and was the True Valedictorian of Travelers Rest High School. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Furman University and continued her education at The University of South Carolina and earned a Master’s Degree. She worked for York County Planning and Development and was of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving is her husband of 34 years: Anthony “Tony” Peter Sorrentino.

A graveside service will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday morning, May 30, 2020 at Enoree Baptist Church Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at The Howze Mortuary.
