Imogene Dodson Hogan, 92

Imogene Dodson Hogan, 92, beloved wife of the late Eugene "Gene" Grady Hogan Sr., passed away, Sunday, December 6, 2020.
Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Clyde Oliver Dodson and Gladys Banister Dodson.
Imogene, "Imo" as known by her friends, was a 1945 graduate of Parker High School and attended Furman University. She retired after a twenty plus year career as a secretary from Belk Credit Center. Her work life flowed over into her home life with her organizational skills, neatness and order. Imogene was a faithful member of Reedy River Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir, was a member of the Lydia Sunday School Class, volunteered in the nursery and Vacation Bible School, served on the church Hostess Committee and was a member of the Senior Adult Sunshine Fellowship. Her beauty radiated through her energetic ways, youthful spirit and never thinking of herself as being "old". She enthusiastically joined her husband in his love for travel. Imogene left her mark on this world with her contagious zest for life, love for her family, friends and most of all, her Lord.
She is survived by her son, Eugene "Gene" Grady Hogan, II, of Mount Pleasant; brother, Herbert Dodson; niece, Bonnie Batson; and two nephews, Barry Batson (Linda) and Benny Batson.
In addition to her loving husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Cecelia Batson and brother-in-law, Earl Batson.
