Travelers Rest man killed in White Horse Road motorcycle crash

CLEVELAND, S.C. — A 56-year-old man was killed on Friday following a motorcycle crash on White Horse Road in Greenville County.
According to the Greenville County Coroner's Office, the single motorcycle wreck happened around 3:45 p.m. at the Old White Horse Road intersection.
David Lackey, Jr., of Travelers Rest, was killed in the crash, the coroner said.
Lackey was driving a 1991 Honda motorcycle north on White Horse Road when he went off the right side of the road. He hit a pole and was ejected, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers.
Troopers said Lackey was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
