James Green, 77 - Travelers Rest

James Leland “Jimmy” Green, 77, of Travelers Rest passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital.

Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Leland Oscar Green and the late Annie Tee Evington Epps. Jimmy was a U.S. Army Veteran; he retired from G&K Services and was a member of Woodside Church of God.

Surviving is his wife of 51 years, Annette B. Green; two sons, James Stacy Green (Tammy) and Jeffrey Regan Green (Kathryn); a brother, Tracy Epps(Donna); six grandchildren, Kaleb Green, Rylie Green, Payton Green, Ashlyn Turner, Kendyl Green and Edyn Green and two special nieces, Alicia and Logan.

He was predeceased by his step-father, Beattie Epps.

A Memorial service will be held at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon January 8 at Woodside Church of God.

The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 PM Friday at the church prior to the service.

The family will be at the home.
