Carroll Huff, 92 - Travelers Rest

Carroll Huff, 92, of Travelers Rest, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital.

Born in Travelers Rest, SC, he was a son of the late Will and Bessie Benson Huff. He was a retired Chapel Director at Furman University, U. S. Navy veteran of the Korean War serving on the U.S.S. Mississippi, served on the Travelers Rest City Council, and a member of Enoree Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years: Sarah Styles Huff; daughter Bess McCall (Wayne); grandchildren: Casey Kilbreth, Blake Kilbreth; brother: Prue B. Huff; and sister: Penuma Moore.

Along with his parents he was predeceased by a son: Carroll Anthony “Tony” Huff.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
