Billie Ray Wilkey, 83 - Marietta

Billie Ray Wilkey, 83, of Marietta, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital.

Born in Robbinsville, NC, he was a son of the late William Howard and Lelia Stewart Wilkey. He was retired from the U. S. Air Force, and a member of Lima Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years: Lyndal Martin Wilkey; sons: William George Wilkey(Sabrina), Stewart Martin Wilkey(Kathy); daughter: Cindy Cowan(Pernell); sister: Ruby Taylor; a grandson raised in the home: William Jarrad Wilkey; 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents he was predeceased by a brother; William Jerry Wilkey; sister: Ruth Irene Wilkey; and brother-in-law: Tommy Taylor.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 10am until 11am at The Howze Mortuary.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 11am in The Howze Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at Lima Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be at the home.
