David Shuman, 76 - Travelers Rest
David Shuman, 76, of Travelers Rest, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital-Eastside.
Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Mary Bowers Shuman. He was retired from Dougherty Forklift, was a classic car enthusiast, and a member of Faith Independent Baptist Church in Cleveland, SC.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years: Jean Ann Wertz Woodard Shuman; daughters: Donna Meyer, Lynn Pearman(Josh); son: Wayne Shuman(Patty), Keith Shuman(Michelle); sister: Eva Shuler(Broadus); and 5 grandchildren. Along with his parents he was predeceased by his first wife: Mary Alice Shuman; and a son: Stanley Trent Shuman.
Funeral services will be Sunday afternoon, June 13, 2021, at 1pm at Faith Independent Baptist Church with burial to follow at Coleman Memorial Cemetery.
After the burial the family will gather at the home of his son, Wayne Shuman, 3403 State Park Rd. Greenville, SC 29609.
