Debra Craine, 61 - Travelers Rest

Debra Jean Craine, 61, of Travelers Rest, passed away Friday, June 11, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital.

Born in Greenville County on October 29, 1959, she was a daughter of the late Lewis Styles Craine and Betty Jean Dorsey. She is survived by her son: Michael Turner (Allison); granddaughter: Ashley Turner; sister: Sandra Chapman; and brother: Larry Craine. Along with her parents she was predeceased by two brothers: Kevin Craine and Robert “Bobby” Craine.

Affectionately known as “Nannybug”, she loved all of her family and friends, but most of all her son was her pride and joy and her granddaughter was her sunshine. She loved drinking coffee with her neighbors, shopping, as well as sock monkeys and everything teal.

Having beat cancer twice along with many other medical concerns, she faced every challenge with grace and patience. On Friday, she was completely healed of all pain and sickness and made new. We will miss her every day.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Solid Rock Baptist Church on Blackberry Valley Rd. in Greenville, SC.
