Catherine Guible, 94 - Travelers Rest

Catherine Eliza Jones Guible, 94, wife of the late Ernest Roy Guible, Sr., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital – Downtown.

Born in Washington, DC, Catherine was the daughter of the late Charles Pratt Jones and Edith Estelle Barrett Jones. She was retired from Bell South after 40 years of dedicated service, member of the Pioneers and a member of Popes Creek Baptist Church in Montross, VA.

Catherine is survived by a daughter: Susan Kramer and husband Frank of Travelers Rest; son: Ernest Roy Guible, Jr. of Reddick, FL; brother: Carroll (Sunny) Jones of Ferndale, WA; 5 grandchildren: Nicole Guible, Seth (Brianna) Guible, Sr., Katherine-Kramer Geran (Dr. Mike), Krystal Kramer-Webb (Robert) and Daniel Ray Kramer; 7 great-grandchildren: Clay (Ashton) Webb, Jack Geran, Ben Geran, Seth Guible, Jr., Ivar Guible, Athena Guible and Bjorn Guible; and 1 great-great-granddaughter: Styles Webb.

Along with her husband and parents, Catherine was also predeceased by a daughter, Sharon Ann Guible and 7 brothers and sisters.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Mountain View Memorial Park in Travelers Rest.
