William Tolley, 77 - Marietta

William Curtis “Will” Tolley, 77, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 2, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Marietta, SC, he was the son of the late David Tolley and Rhoda Berry Tolley Martz. Will was a retired plumber having worked with his brother J.C. Tolley Plumbing, was an avid hunter and fisherman and a member of Cleveland First Baptist Church.

Will is survived by his wife of 33 years, Katherine “Kathy” Massey Tolley; daughter: Melinda Tolley Howard and husband Barry; 2 sons: William Scott Tolley and wife Nancy and David Allen Tolley; brother: J.C. Tolley; stepson: William Joseph Taber; 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents, Will was predeceased by 5 sisters: Leora Ward, June McKelroy, Linnie Thomas, Beatrice Cawley and Ruby Merritt; 3 brothers: Harrison Tolley, Howard Tolley and Chester Tolley; stepson: Christopher Mark Taber; 1 grandson and 1 great-granddaughter.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. until 1:50 p.m. at Cleveland First Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow the visitation in the church sanctuary at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Mountain View Memorial Park in Travelers Rest.
