Conrad Frey, 86 - Travelers Rest
Conrad Leroy Frey, 86, of Travelers Rest, SC passed away Tuesday June 29, 2021.
Born in Hollisterville PA, he was the son of the late Stanley Frey and Almira Wilhelm Frey. He was a member of Cathedral of Faith Church of God in Marietta SC and a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
Conrad was a kind and gentle man who was a skilled carpenter by trade. He had a passion for building furniture and gardening in his spare time.
He is survived by his three children, Jill DeSisto (Joe Babicz), Thomas Frey (Rose) and Brenda Frey all of Greenville SC., his three grandchildren, Suzanne Gillespie, Dustin Tucker (Alisha) and Nicholas DeSisto, and a great grandson, William Skylar Gillespie all also of Greenville SC. He was also expecting a great granddaughter, Ila Jane Tucker in September.
He is further survived by a brother, Stanley Frey Jr of PA and a sister, Marie Combs of Kentucky as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Francis Temperton and a brother Roger Frey.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Monday, July 12th, 2021, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Funeral Home, followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00 PM in the Chapel.
