Zachary Bettis, 29 - Travelers Rest

Zachary Allen Bettis, 29, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville.

Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of Thomas A. “Tab” Bettis and Angela McMahan Burns. Zachary was employed BOSCH Corporation where he was a talented CNC Operator and was of the Methodist faith.

Along with his parents, Zachary is survived by his fiancée, Heather Chapman, sister: Macayla Bettis; stepfather: Todd Burns; father’s fiancée: Patty Hudson; maternal grandmother: Patricia Hampton; paternal grandmother: Teresa Ovissi; stepbrother: Stephen Burns along with many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Zachary was predeceased by his maternal grandfather: Jerry Rhyne and paternal grandfather: Thomas Bettis.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Mountain View Memorial Park in Travelers Rest.

The family will be gathering at the Bettis home, 117 Darby Place, Taylors, and the Burns home, 23 Paris View Dr., Travelers Rest.
