Jill Black, 69 - Marietta

Jill Arquette Black, 69, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at St. Francis Downtown.

Born in Johnson City, TN, she was the daughter of the late Frank Joseph and Delie Mae Grindstaff Arquette. She was a homemaker and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband: Rickey Daniel Black; one daughter: Sandra Wilson (boyfriend Mike); four sons: David Brown (Lynn), Rickey Black (Lisa), Michael Black, and Brandon Black; one sister: Shelby Guinn; twenty-six grandchildren; and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by nineteen siblings.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Shiloh Baptist Church, 646 Dacusville Rd., Marietta, SC 29661, with the Reverend Ben Wharton and Reverend Darrell Shipman officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital,, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

The family will be at the home.
