Patricia Messer, 63 - Greenville County

Patricia Faye Burns Messer, 63, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 17th, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown Greenville.

Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Boin and Flaura Shirley Burns. She retired from Tigerville Elementary School and was a member of Slater United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years: William “Bill” Edward Messer; her daughter: Shannon Bowen (Brian); her son: Chris Messer (Kayla); two sisters: Margaret Gentry (Rodger) and Nina Burns; two brothers: Albert Burns (Vickie) and Jimmy Burns (Beryl); a granddaughter: Christian Davis (Mikey), a grandson: River Messer; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was also predeceased by a son: Billie Messer and three sisters: Becky Gannon, Mildred Debusk, and her identical twin, Linda Gillikin.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday morning, September 21, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. in Mountain View Memorial Park.
