Gerald Ferguson, 73 - Cleveland

Gerald Edward Ferguson, 73, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Leonard and Mamie Hardin Ferguson. Gerald retired from JP-Stevens, Slater Plant after 25 years of service and was a member of Saluda Hill Baptist Church.

Gerald is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patricia Dodson Ferguson; 3 sons: Stacey Ferguson of Cleveland, Daryl Ferguson, and Dale Ferguson both of Marietta and a sister, Linda Laws of Cleveland.

Along with his parents, Gerald was predeceased by a brother, Junior Ferguson.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at The Howze Mortuary. Graveside service will follow the visitation at the Hardin Family Cemetery in Cleveland at 12 noon.
