Mabel H. Center, 80 - Travelers Rest

Mabel H. Center, 80, widow of Haskell Center, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Helms Gordon Residential Assisted Living in Fort Lawn, S.C.

Born in Madison County, NC, she was the daughter of the late James and Ethel Riddley Hagan. Mrs. Center worked in Textiles and was a member of Lima Church Of God.

Surviving are two sons: Larry Center, and Gary Center (Beth); one sister: Marie Hagan; five grandchildren: Staci Koonce (Brock), Brian Dillard (Katie), Michael Center (Brandi), Jessica Center, and Eric Center (Lisa); and four great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, Mrs. Center was predeceased by one daughter, Linda Gail Center, and six siblings.

The family will receive friends Tuesday morning from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Lima Church Of God.

Funeral service will be Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. at Lima Church Of God.

Burial will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park.

The family will be at the home of the sister, Marie Hagan.
