Sheriff's Office reports string of vehicle break-ins

MARIETTA, S.C. – The Greenville County Sheriff's Office recently responded to 12 reports of vehicle break-ins in Marietta, all of which occurred between 6 p.m. on June 29 and 9 a.m. on June 30.

Deputies said the break-ins were reported on the following streets:

• Long Shoals Road: Six incidents

• Chestnut Ridge Road: Two incidents

• Vanoy Circle: Three incidents

• Geer Highway: One incident

Items stolen include a firearm, electronics and cash.

Deputies said some but not all of the vehicles were locked.

Investigators ask anyone who may have information regarding these incidents to call Crime Stoppers at 864-23-CRIME.
