Upstate entrepreneur’s PR firm to focus on culinary, arts sectors

GREENVILLE, SC – Nichole Livengood, the writer behind the Upstate’s popular GapCreekGourmet.com food blog and a presenting partner for the Greenville Small Plate Crawl, has launched her own public relations company, NicLive PR.

Livengood will focus her expertise on the culinary and arts sectors, providing social media consulting and management, local, regional and national media relations, appearance management, event planning and management, and other brand growth and development services.

In 2005, Livengood founded the Travelers Rest Arts Mission, a nonprofit arts organization in northern Greenville County, that was at the forefront of economic development in Travelers Rest. As a freelance writer, her articles have appeared in the Greenville and Spartanburg Journals, Greenville Business Magazine, Columbia Business Monthly, Greenville News, Verve, Bold and USA Today.

NicLive PR’s current clients include the Travelers Rest Farmers Market, Leopard Forest Coffee Company, Upcountry Provisions, Wits End Poetry/Southern Fried Poetry Slam, ChekTrek, and iOnGreenville.

Livengood is also expanding the annual Small Plate Crawl event to include the Spartanburg, Columbia and Charleston markets in 2015.
