Registration deadline approaches for Rec District homeschool P.E. program
GREENVILLE, S.C. – The registration period for the Greenville County Rec District's fall 2014 homeschool P.E. program ends on Monday, Aug. 18.
The nine-week program, open to children ages 6 – 12, includes instruction on tennis, broomball, ice hockey/figure skating, horseback riding, soccer, swimming, hiking, and more.
Instructors for the course are Ted Lambrecht, who is a former head coach for the Clemson hockey club, and David Parker, a former school teacher and avid triathlete.
Classes are held each Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon. The cost for the program is $64 per child ($80 if out-of-county), and students meet at the Pavilion Recreation Complex in Greenville.
The first session will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 21.
