Vera Edwards Bailey, 77 - Travelers Rest

Vera Edwards Bailey, 77, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2014, at St. Francis Hospital-Downtown in Greenville.

Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence R. and Martha Welchel Edwards. She was a homemaker and member of Enoree Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband of 36 years, Frankie D. Bailey; daughter: Louise Cooke Harris and husband Gary; granddaughter: Elena Steadman; great-grandson: Silas Bowser and 2 sisters: Jane Robertson and Shirley Hall.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by 2 sisters and 1 brother.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at Enoree Baptist Church Cemetery in Travelers Rest.

The family will be at the home.
