LaDema Louise Hendrix Williams, 71 - Marietta

LaDema Louise Hendrix Williams, 71, passed away on August 19, 2014, at her home.

Born in Pickens County on October 21, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Guyson and Corrie Reid Hendrix. Mrs. Williams was a member of Peters Creek Baptist Church, the Eastern Stars and she enjoyed gardening and playing the piano.

Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Benjamin Tillman Williams; 1 brother, Dennis Hendrix; 1 sister, Linda Loftis; 6 nieces, Joy Lell (Bull), Sue Pittman (Phil), Ann Wyatt (Ricky), Marlene Martin, Darlene Tilson, Rhonda Addis (Jeff), and many great nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by 2 brothers, Roy and Homer Hendrix; 2 sister-in-laws, Joanne Williams and Geraldine Hendrix; and her husband’s parents, Benjamin and Bertie Williams.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014, at 1 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary with visitation prior from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

Burial will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park.

The family will be at the home.
