Doug Mullinax, 54 - Travelers Rest

 James Douglas “Doug” Mullinax, 54, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2014 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Calvin Poole and Hazel Parker Mullinax. Doug and his wife were owners of Crystal Rain Recording Studio and he primarily played guitar with bands, Vision and Paradise Blue and was a Christian.

Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Robin Henson Mullinax; son: Eric Mullinax and wife Tanna; brother: Milton Mullinax and wife Kathy; aunts: Jewell Paris, Louise Morgan and Frankie Stokes and special-in-laws: Jimmy and Evelyn Henson.

Along with his parents, Doug was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Randy Henson.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary.

Funeral service will be Thursday morning at 11 a.m. at The Howze Mortuary Chapel.

Burial will be at Faith Temple Cemetery in Taylors.
