Historical Society to host 'Travelers Rest: Present and Future'

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – "Travelers Rest: Present and Future" will be the topic of September's Travelers Rest Historical Society meeting, to be held on Tuesday, Sept. 16.

The program, which will be presented by Travelers Rest City Administrator Dianna Turner, will provide a glimpse into the future plans for prospective new shopping, dining, business and recreational opportunities in the city.

The Society's recently-released video series will also be discussed, according to organizers.

The meeting will be held at Travelers Rest City Hall, located at 6711 State Park Rd., beginning at 7 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
