Slater-Marietta High School, Slater Mill reunions to be held Saturday

SLATER, S.C. – The annual Slater Mill and Slater-Marietta High School reunion (all years) will be held on Sat., Sept. 19 from 7 - 9 p.m. at historic Slater Hall.

Everyone is invited to attend the free event, whether you worked in the mill, attended the high school or just want to be with friends and family who did.

Special this year is that the reunion is being held in conjunction with the traveling Smithsonian Museum exhibit "Hometown Teams: How Sports Shape America" now running at Slater Hall.

Light refreshments will be served, and there will be music, dancing and a lot of opportunity to catch up with old friends, according to event organizer Karen Cleveland.

Slater Hall is located at 5 Whitney St. in Slater.
