Wreck, vehicle fire closes northern Greenville County road

TIGERVILLE, S.C. – Only minor injuries were reported following a single-vehicle wreck and vehicle fire in northern Greenville County Monday morning.

Camp Creek Road was closed as firefighters with the Tigerville Fire Dept. responded to the scene, located near the intersection of Lindsey Bridge Road, around 10:30 a.m..

According to officials, a vehicle left the roadway and overturned into a ditch, but the driver, an area high school student, was able to get out through the back window just prior to the fire.
