Travelers Rest HS yearbook staff receives Press Association honor

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – For the second year in a row, the Travelers Rest High School yearbook staff received an evaluation of "Excellent" from the S.C. Scholastic Press Association.

The recognition was for students' work on the 2013-14 edition of The Traveler.

"What the students are seeing is that working hard for an entire year pays off," TRHS faculty member and yearbook adviser Jonathan Duty said. "They are learning wonderful 'real world' lessons, and it has been a pleasure to see them grow and excel."

The editor of the 2013-14 edition of The Traveler was Averi Ellenburg, who has graduated and is a current freshman at the University of South Carolina.
