Benjamin Tillman Williams, 76 - Marietta
Benjamin Tillman Williams, widower of LaDema Louise Hendrix Williams, 76, passed away on October 15, 2014 at his home.
Born in Pickens County on June 11, 1938, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Bertie Mae Hendricks. Mr. Williams served in the US Army, was a forty year member of the Masonic Cooper Lodge #282, and attended Peters Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving are one brother-in-law: Dennis Hendrix; one sister-in-law: Linda Loftis; six nieces: Joy Lell (Bull), Sue Pittman (Phil), Ann Wyatt (Ricky), Marlene Martin, Darlene Tilson (John), and Rhonda Addis (Jeff); eight great-nieces and great- nephews; and a special friend and caretaker, Rhonda Currens.
Along with his parents and wife of 54 years, he was predeceased by one sister, Joanne Williams.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 2 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary chapel.
The family will receive friends Friday, October 17, 2014 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary.
Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.
The family will be at the home of Dennis Hendrix, 110 Lee Circle, Marietta, SC 29661.
