Franki Jumper crowned NGU Homecoming Queen
TIGERVILLE, S.C. – Franki Jumper was crowned queen for North Greenville University’s 2014 homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 18.
NGU President Dr. Jimmy Epting and 2013 homecoming queen Samantha Hill crowned Jumper, from Swansea, during halftime of the Crusaders’ football game with Mars Hill.
Jumper, who represented women’s soccer, is a senior Education major and the daughter of Frankie and Jane Jumper.
Kelsi Windsor was named first runner-up. Windsor represented the Baptist Student Union and is a senior Intercultural Studies major from Taylors. She is the daughter of Brad and Sherrie Windsor.
NGU awarded Katie Taylor, representing the Biology Club, the second runner-up honor. She is a senior Biology major from Simpsonville and the daughter of Susan Taylor.
The North Greenville University homecoming queen is chosen annually by the student body in a campus wide vote during the week of homecoming.
