Lucille Constance Young Burgess, 86 - Travelers Rest

Lucille Constance Young Burgess, 86, of Travelers Rest, wife of the late Delbert Herman Burgess, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Heartland East.

Born in Anderson County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Robert E. and Sarah Ethel Poore Young. She was a retired cosmetologist and a member of Foothills Baptist Church.

Surviving are her sons, Ted Burgess (Frankie) and Ned Burgess (Carrie); 9 grandchildren, Cris Galloway, Jennifer Van Buren, Amy Laws, Aaron Shelton, Josh Burgess, Ashley Hebrank, Luke Burgess, Jonathan Burgess and Andy Burgess and 10 great grandchildren, Hunter Laws, Nathan Laws, Skylar Van Buren, Jordan Shelton, Kerri Lynn Burgess, Daniel Burgess, Grayson Shelton, Jaidyn Burgess, Gavin Schmitz, Connor Burgess and Hadley Hebrank.

In addition to her husband she was predeceased by 2 daughters, Patricia Galloway and Sandra Burgess; 2 brothers, Joel Young and Robert (Jr.) E. Young and a grandson, Nicholas Burgess.

Graveside services will be held at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon at Mountain View Memorial Park (formerly Grand View Memorial Gardens)

The family will be at the home of Ted & Frankie Burgess.
