Updated: Emergency crews respond to overturned tractor-trailer on Hwy. 25

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. – Firefighters and emergency crews are on the scene of an overturned tractor-trailer on U.S. Hwy. 25 near the S.C./N.C. line.

The wreck happened in the southbound lanes around 6:35 a.m. River Falls and Glassy Mountain firefighters were called to the scene.

Initial reports indicated that southbound lanes were and/or are closed, although that information has not been confirmed.

According to the S.C. Highway Patrol website, injuries were reported, but there is no word as to the extent or the number of people.
