Area golf course makes nationwide top-100 list

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – A northern Greenville County golf course has been named to Golfweek's 2015 list of "Best Residential Courses."

The Cliffs at Mountain Park, located along Highway 11 just north of Travelers Rest, made the annual list, which ranks the 100 best courses in the United States.

Opened in September 2013, the Mountain Park golf course features an 18-hole, 7,218-yard championship design by Gary Player tucked into a stunning wooded valley along the North Saluda River in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The course came in at #43 on the Golfweek list.
