Mildred “Mickey” Paris Burns, 94 -Travelers Rest

Mildred “Mickey” Paris Burns, 94, of Travelers Rest, wife of the late James E. Burns, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, November 8, 2023, at St. Francis Hospital.

Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Guy G. and Grace Stewart Paris. She was a homemaker and a member of Enoree Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons: Mike Burns(Anne), Steve Burns(Jan); grandchildren: Matt Burns, Kristy Burns, Rhett Burns(Shannon), Katie Burns; great-grandchildren: Samuel Burns, Andrew Burns, Hudson Burns, Katelyn Burns, Rachel Burns, and Asher Burns.

Along with her parents and husband she was predeceased by two sisters and one brother.

The family would like to express their thanks for Mrs. Burns caregivers, Clara Ledford, Pearlene Skipper, Carolyn Wilson, and Rene Foreman.

The family will receive friends Sunday, November 12, 2023, from 3:00pm until 4:00pm at Enoree Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be Sunday, November 12, 2023, at 4:00pm at Enoree Baptist Church. Private family burial will follow the service at Locust Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be at Mrs. Burns residence.
