Deadline Friday: Registration open for Travelers Rest Lions Club Roy Reynolds Memorial Golf Tournament

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – The Travelers Rest Lions Club will hold its annual Roy Reynolds Memorial Golf Tournament at Paris Mountain Country Club on Sat., Aug. 26.

Now in its seventh year, the tournament honors former Travelers Rest Mayor Roy Reynolds, an avid golfer and a charter member and former president of the Travelers Rest Lions Club.

Registration is $75.00 per person and includes green fee, cart and lunch. The registration deadline is Aug. 18.

All proceeds from the tournament go to support area Lions Club projects, which include eye care, college scholarships and other resources to area residents in need.

The tournament will be played in captain’s choice format with 4-person teams. Play is set to begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. In addition to team prizes, prizes will be awarded for longest drive, straightest drive and closest to the pin competitions.

Tee, hole, closest to pin and longest drive sponsorships are also available.

Paris Mountain Country Club is located at 301 Old Rockhouse Rd.
